The VAMPIRE lab is responsible for the benchmarking efforts in eBACS. At this point this covers

• eBASH: ECRYPT Benchmarking of All Submitted Hashes
• eBASC: ECRYPT Benchmarking of Stream Ciphers
• eBATS: ECRYPT Benchmarking of Asymmetric Systems
• public-key Diffie–Hellman secret-sharing
• public-key encryption
• public-key signatures

Since 2011 VAMPIRE maintains the Networking-and-Cryptography Library (NaCl), a library which prides itself to be an easy-to-use high-speed software library for network communication, encryption, decryption, signatures, etc. NaCl's goal is to provide all of the core operations needed to build higher-level cryptographic tools.
The software is available for download and has a public domain licence.

The VAMPIRE lab is responsible for 2 lounges providing an overview of recent research on the particular topic as well as a basic and easy to understand description of the topic.
Even though we made an effort to keep the lounges self contained and close to complete, we are happy about additional input and updates. Please contact the persons responsible for the respective lounge.
